Robotise’s mission is to introduce service robots into people‘s everyday lives. We are a fast-paced and dynamic robotics start-up based in Munich, Germany. We have customers, the right product and prototypes of our service robots already deployed at clients’ sites. In the process of growing our team of passionate, self-driven individuals, we seek an entrepreneurial minded team member for our Munich based office.


  • Perform design and integration across all aspects of our service robots: structures, drivetrains, suspension, electromechanical systems, sensors and other electronic components, body shells, and ancillary systems
  • Participate as a key player covering the design-build-test process, from conceptual to detailed design, including requirements definition, design reviews, prototyping, and testing
  • Create, manage, and maintain CAD models of parts, assemblies, and configurations, including the Virtual Model and PDM information throughout the product lifecycle
  • Take ownership of the design process, driving application of engineering best practices
  • Become the reference person on design topics, internally and for interaction with suppliers


  • 5 years relevant experience in a product company in a cutting-edge industry
  • Solid engineering foundations, including mechanics, dynamics, materials, structures, thermodynamics and electricity
  • Ability to perform all design activities using CAD including defining appropriate GD&T
  • Experience with a wide variety of manufacturing processes and materials (structural metals, composites, plastics)
  • Ability to carry out structural analyses, via manual calculation and FEA (strongly advantageous), to size and validate designs
  • Knowledge of European and German engineering norms (ISO, DIN) and best practices
  • A proactive, organized, and effective self-starter comfortable with owning a project from conceptual phase through to product sign off
